Spectra Gutter Systems is seeking a high-performance Outside Sales Representative to lead revenue growth across key territories in the Charlotte market. As our Outside Sales Representative, you are the face of Spectra Gutter Systems in the field. You will drive new business, strengthen contractor partnerships, and execute our territory sales plan with precision. You will be backed by Sales Managers, Branch Managers, and General Managers who provide coaching, tools, and direction — never a sink-or-swim environment.


Your Mission: What You’ll Do

Own Your Territory

- Manage and grow an assigned geographic region

- Pursue leads, identify whitespace, and ensure complete territory coverage

- Execute disciplined follow-up and consistent market presence


Build Relationships

- Develop strong partnerships with contractors, builders, and local customers

- Serve as the trusted, reliable point of contact in your market


Drive Pipeline & Revenue

- Execute the sales plan with urgency

- Maintain a healthy, accurate pipeline

- Convert opportunities into profitable, closed business


Key Responsibilities

1. New Customer Acquisition — Prospect, qualify, and close new accounts

2. Customer Retention & Growth — Strengthen and expand existing relationships

3. Pricing Integrity — Maintain margin discipline within established guardrails

4. Sales Analysis & Reporting — Track activity, manage data, and participate in weekly reviews

5. Field Presence — Spend most of your week in front of customers and on job sites


Success Metrics

- Territory Revenue Growth versus plan

- New Customer Wins that add meaningful volume

- Retention Performance of existing customers

- Margin Protection through disciplined pricing


Your Support System

You will be supported by:

- Branch Manager — Ride-alongs, local support, customer issue resolution

- General Manager — Territory planning, pricing guidance, pipeline discipline

- Regional Director — Market strategy, accountability, talent development


Ideal Candidate Profile

Must-Have Qualifications

- Proven success in outside sales with consistent target achievement

- Strong relationship-building skills with contractors or commercial customers

- Highly disciplined, self-driven, and accountable

- Comfortable with data, pipeline management, and structured reviews


Preferred Experience

- Building materials, distribution, or industrial sales

- Experience managing a defined territory within a formal sales system

- Margin management and pricing discipline

- Track record of new customer acquisition and account retention


A Week in the Role

- Monday: Pipeline review with Sales Manager

- Tue–Thu: Customer visits, job site meetings, territory development

- Friday: Reporting, analysis, and lead follow-up

- Ongoing: Coaching and ride-alongs with Branch Manager
