Key Responsibilities:
- Perform collision repairs, including body panel replacement, dent removal, and frame straightening
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to assess vehicle damage and determine repair procedures
- Follow manufacturer specifications and safety standards to ensure quality workmanship
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding repair progress and timelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Complete all repairs within the flat rate time guidelines, ensuring productivity and profitability
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Body Shop Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of automotive body repair techniques and tools
- Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and technical diagrams
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Certification from an accredited automotive body repair program is preferred
