Warehouse Associate

Fern is at the top of the trade show and expo service industry. Our operation spans more than 200 cities from coast to coast. We are looking to add a warehouse employee to our Kansas City team.  This role supports our Exhibit Sales team, and you must be able to professionally interact with customers, other team members and outside vendors.  

You will report directly to the GM.  Position does require being on-site full-time.  Must be available to work some weekends and nights as needed for coverage on various shows.   

 Pay is $17-19/hr.

 What you’ll do: 

• Pulling stock items used to produce custom exhibits for trade shows. 
• Monitor and enforce safety procedures.
• Coordinate with Exhibit Sales Project manager to discuss purchase needs.
• Properly track all materials used on jobs.
• Maintain a productive and safe environment for team workers. 
• Participating in training as appropriate to continuously upgrade skills.
• Communicate with supervisors and managers on daily activities and needs.
• Contribute to the goal of current and accurate inventory control.
• Maintain legible and accurate records or logs as required.
• Monitor and communicate methods of operations and safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Flexibility to work weekends and after hours for show coverage.
• Comfortable with obtaining a Class E license and driving a box truck for pickup and deliveries as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

 Who You Are: 

• High school diploma or equivalent.  
• 3-5 years related experience.
• Forklift Certification 
• Valid Driver’s License. Ability to obtain Class E certification required.
