Position Summary
Reporting to the Paint Line Supervisor and based 100% on-site at 2 Walker Drive, Brampton, Ontario, this position involves tending to a machine by loading and unloading component parts requiring paint. To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to execute each essential duty effectively. The qualifications outlined below represent the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Shift:
Afternoon Shift (3:30pm to 12:00am)
Responsibilities
- Responsible for hanging parts on conveyor system
- May operate a compressed air spray nozzle gun to apply paint to various elevator parts
- Unload parts off conveyor once painted and dried.
- Ensure appropriate parts are identified.
- Other duties as assigned from time to time.

- High School Diploma Dry paint experience is preferred but not necessary.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures in English.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Must have the ability to perform all tasks with minimum supervision.
- Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors, managers, other stakeholders.
- Should possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
