About this position
Location: White Bear Lake, MN
Shift: Monday through Friday 6am-2:30pm
Purpose:
Under general supervision, the Material Handler receives, stores, moves, and ships materials within the Parts and Production areas. This role ensures accurate and timely flow of parts to support production and customer orders.
What You’ll Do
Pull and deliver parts according to production schedules for the assembly floor.
Package and crate products for shipment based on size, weight, and type of materials.
Review and prepare daily shipping requirements and documentation.
Load and unload trucks and containers; verify incoming goods and process corresponding paperwork.
Stock materials in warehouse locations and create new locations for incoming inventory.
Coordinate pick-ups and shipping with internal teams.
Inspect bills of lading and outbound shipments for accuracy and completeness.
Handle weldments for inspection and returns as needed.
Notify production leads of incoming parts and fulfill backorders to the production floor.
Ensure packing supplies are maintained at adequate levels.
Perform other similar duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 3 years warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
Forklift certification preferred (we can certify upon hire if needed).
Comfortable using computers for inventory look-ups, shipping instructions, and data entry.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
Clear and professional verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
Working Environment / Physical Requirements
Work performed indoors on the production floor ~85% of the time.
Work performed outdoors in various weather conditions ~15% of the time.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move materials throughout the shift.
Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly.
