HR Director

Proesis Biologics Inc Boise, Idaho, United States

About this position

At Proesis Biologics, we're building something different — a company grounded in bold authenticity, fierce donor advocacy, intense curiosity, and a desire to serve. We operate FDA-licensed plasma collection centers across the United States that contribute to the creation of life-saving therapies. We’re also growing — fast.

We're looking for a hands-on HR Director with operational depth — someone who thrives at the intersection of people strategy and frontline execution, especially in regulated, healthcare-adjacent environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Own full-cycle HR leadership across all Proesis locations, from recruiting to retention to culture-building
  • Lead strategic recruiting efforts for clinical roles (LPNs, RNs, EMTs, etc.) in a highly competitive labor market
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure adequate staffing, effective onboarding, and training alignment
  • Develop and execute retention strategies that go beyond pay — think recognition, development, and growth paths
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on organizational structure, employee relations, and performance management
  • Champion compliance, employee policies, and HR best practices in a fast-paced, regulated environment

Why Proesis?

  • Mission-first organization with deep industry expertise and start-up energy
  • A team that values transparency, service, and people over politics
  • Competitive compensation and benefits
  • Real opportunity to shape the future of a fast-growing company in a critical health sector

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • 5–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 in an HR leadership role
  • Experience recruiting and retaining medical or clinical staff (e.g., long-term care, behavioral health, allied health, EMS, plasma, dialysis, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to scale HR systems and processes across multiple locations
  • Strong operational instincts — able to walk the floor, support frontline teams, and build trust
  • Passion for building culture and navigating the complexities of a growing, mission-driven company
  • Bonus: Experience in FDA-regulated or healthcare services environments
