Position Overview

 

The Senior Account Manager manages a portfolio of employer clients, providing proactive service, strategic guidance, and expert support for health and welfare benefit programs. You’ll be the primary client contact, handling renewals, vendor relationships, compliance, and plan strategy while ensuring clients feel prioritized and supported.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Build and maintain strong client relationships.Lead renewals and strategy meetings with producers.Analyze claims data and develop plan recommendations.Manage vendors, carriers, and internal project timelines.Communicate clearly through reports and presentations.Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service.Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.5+ years in employee benefits consulting or brokerage.Active 215 Life & Health License (or ability to obtain).Strong knowledge of plan design, funding, and compliance.Excellent communication, organization, and Excel skills.Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, client-focused environmentCEBS, GBA, or RHU designation. Experience with self-funded or level-funded plans.Familiarity with HRIS or benefits administration platforms.E-Verify:
