Weston Herzog LLP is a dynamic and well-respected law firm with offices in Glendale, CA. Our primary practice areas include:


  • Insurance Defense Litigation: Premises liability, products liability, trucking accidents, intentional torts, negligent security, and pharmacy error.
  • Employment Litigation: Defense of employers against claims of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and retaliation.
  • Real Estate Law: Representation of property owners in commercial lease disputes, including unlawful detainer actions and collection of unpaid rent.

Weston Herzog LLP is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Paralegal to join our growing team. Located in Glendale, CA, our firm specializes in Employment, Insurance Defense, and Real Property Litigation. As a Legal Assistant, you will provide critical support to our attorneys, ensuring efficient legal and administrative operations.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Prepare, review, file and serve legal documents, including pleadings, deposition notices, motions, and discovery responses.
  • Maintain and organize case files and client correspondence.
  • Maintain attorney calendars, including scheduling meetings, court appearances and depositions.
  • Track deadlines for court filings and discovery responses.
  • Communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
  • Review discovery responses and client file materials to identify medical providers and draft subpoena requests.
  • Review medical and employment records and prepare detailed summaries.
  • Prepare and update medical and billing chronologies.
  • Communicate with expert witnesses, including retention, defense medical examinations and providing materials to experts for review.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.


Minimum Experience and Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal assistant or administrative support role, preferably in civil litigation.
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of state and federal court filing procedures.
  • Knowledge of Clio, iManage document management software and/or Forms Workflow a plus.

The pay range for this role is:
65,000 - 85,000 USD per year(Glendale, CA)
