About the role

Job Summary: 

To provide the necessary services for Clubhouse events relating to the build-up and take down of chairs, tables, decorations, stages, lights and other equipment for any and all functions within the association facilities and grounds of Lake Wildwood. Some repair and maintenance of related equipment owned by the Association.  Assorted minor janitorial duties, as assigned. Organization of all storage spaces. Inventory assistance. Regular schedule combined with odd shifts, as required, when special events occur, necessitating additional labor


Pay Range is $20 to $22 DOE

What you'll do

Job Requirements:

A.        Moves and sets up tables, chairs, stages, lights, equipment for any and all events meetings and gatherings recognized by the association.

B.        Performs required electrical installation, repair on small appliances or sound equipment if necessary to facilitate the primary mission of the event and entertainment functions.

C.        Performs minor janitorial duties as required.

D.        Takes ownership of the organization of Food and Beverage Department storage spaces.

E.        Assists with inventory as well as stocking of beer and wine deliveries.

F.        Must learn the operations of thermostat settings, light settings, and sound settings and function in all meeting rooms and all venues of the association.

G.        Does required minor repairs of doors, windows, and shades in Association building.

H.        May assist with required construction and alteration of all structures and equipment by aiding and assisting the Maintenance personnel or contractors by keeping scheduling and access of rooms for availability.

I.        Makes regular and emergency notifications to the Maintenance Department.

J.        To assure the kitchen of the Clubhouse and other LW cooking/food prep facilities are left clean and organized, including the various BBQ units.

K.        Performs set ups during off hours as able and available.

L.        Any other duties as may be required and/or assigned by the Food and Beverage Director and Event Manager.

 

Qualifications

  I.        Education and Experience:

            A.    Prior experience commensurate with duties of job desirable.

 II.        Certificates/Licenses:  

            A.    Must possess a valid California Driver’s License

 III.        Additional Training Required within 30 Days:  TBD

IV.        Language/Communication: Ability to read, write and speak English is required. Excellent phone skills and some clerical aptitudes are also required.
