Commercial Service/Sales Manager

E.R. Services Mint Hill, North Carolina, United States Sales

About this position

JOB TITLE:    Commercial Plumbing Sales/Service Manager

EMPLOYER:   E.R. Plumbing Services

REPORTS TO: VP of Operations

EFFECTIVE DATE: February 6, 2026

SUMMARY: In this role, your impact goes far beyond managing schedules; you will be the driving force behind our commercial expansion.

Your primary mission is two-fold: transforming fresh leads into enduring partnerships and cultivating existing accounts to ensure every client feels like our top priority. By combining on-site presence with a "relationship-first" sales approach, you will secure our position as the go-to provider for both residential and commercial plumbing solutions

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Lead Conversion: Proactively follow up on all new commercial and residential leads. You are the first point of contact, responsible for turning an inquiry into a loyal client.

  • Relationship Management: Conduct regular site visits and "meet-and-greets" to strengthen ties with property managers, General Contractors, and facility directors.

  • Account Growth: Manage a portfolio of existing commercial accounts, identifying opportunities for preventative maintenance agreements and system upgrades.

  • Estimating & On-Site Consultation: Perform site walkthroughs to assess plumbing needs, provide accurate project scopes, and deliver professional proposals.

  • Strategic Networking: Attend industry events and local association meetings (BOMA, IREM, etc.) to position our company as the premier plumbing provider in the region.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the dispatch and technician teams to ensure that the promises made during the sales process are delivered with excellence in the field.

  • Operational Collaboration & Tech Management: Partner closely with Service Managers to ensure seamless hand-offs from sales to execution. You will act as the liaison between the field techs and the client, ensuring technicians have the clear project scopes and resources needed to meet client expectations.

  • Project Oversight: Provide high-level project management for large-scale commercial installs or multi-phase repairs, tracking progress from the initial bid to final sign-off to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
