Empty Can Feeder Operator - 2nd Shift

Wage:                                      Bracket VII

Hours:                                     2nd Shift, 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.

Days Off:                                 Saturday and Sunday (Possible split days off)

Duties and responsibilities but not limited to:

• Ability to push cans and fill out proper can usage logs;
• Ability to do rework and complete rework recap sheets;
• Ability to palletize product and fill out pallet tags properly according to specific needs;
• Ability to maintain general housekeeping in plant; 
• Ability to clean walls, mopping in work areas, and overall maintaining of general plant;
• Advise foreman or supervisor of potential problems;
• Keep area neat and clean;
• Working knowledge of AFP procedures and record keeping pertaining to department;
• Have knowledge of departmental and job-specific safety regulations.  Attend safety meetings;
• Compliance with all applicable policies, attendance requirements, house and safety rules and the Collective Bargaining Agreement;
• May rotate to various other positions and perform other duties as assigned. 
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to alert maintenance, foreman or supervisor to potential problems
