About this position
· Greet and welcome guests with a positive, friendly attitude
· Manage reservations and seating to optimize guest experience and service flow
· Provide menus and respond to guest inquiries
· Accurately handle cash transactions and operate point-of-sale systems
· Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and cashier station
· Clean and organize the dining room and tables once guest are done eating
· Collaborate with serving staff to ensure efficient operations
· Assist in creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests
· Uphold high standards of customer service and satisfaction
· Support upselling of beverages and menu items when appropriate
· Follow food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices
Requirements:· Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting preferred
· Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems a plus
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong customer service skills and ability to build positive guest relationships
· Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced work environment
· Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions
· Understanding of food service industry practices and standards
· Professional appearance and adherence to dress code standards
· Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
· Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
· Familiarity with basic cash handling procedures
