About the Role:
- Under supervision, performs repair, preventative maintenance, and user support of biomedical equipment of moderate complexity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assesses failure of equipment and affects repair.
- Demonstrates the ability to service electromechanical equipment in a timely effective manner.
- Communicates with manufacturer's technical support representatives for additional help.
- Appropriately orders repair parts to maintain correct inventory levels.
- Utilize appropriate simulators and electronic test equipment to aid troubleshooting process.
- Performs both scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures.
- Completes work orders or updates status on daily basis in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures.
- Completes Parts Requisitions to obtain necessary parts or supplies.
REQUIREMENTS;
- Education: Associate's degree preferred
- Experience: Prior biomed experience, IT background is a plus, rotating weekends, on call
