Location: Fort Payne, AL

Ally Psychiatry is seeking a part-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing outpatient team in Fort Payne, Alabama

Position Details:

  • Schedule: 3 days per week, 8 hours per day
  • Setting: Outpatient clinic 
  • Population: Child and Adolescent focus 
  • Support: Strong administrative and clinical support staff
  • Experienced with DEA preferred
  • PA with CAQ in Psych welcome 
  • Experience with Children greatly preferred.

Qualifications:

  • PMHNP with experience in outpatient psychiatry  
  • DEA license preferred 
  • Passion for working with children and adolescents

Prior experience in providing mental health counseling services within a clinical setting

  • Must possess an AL State License to practice Nursing and it must be in good standing.
  • Must possess the knowledge base in health promotion maintenance, advanced pathophysiology, advanced health assessment and pharmacology for advanced practice nurses.
  • Must possess the following concepts: individual and family psychotherapy, psychiatric-mental health nursing across the lifespan, advanced assessment in psychiatric-mental health nursing and psychopharmacology.
