Sr. Project Manager Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of Contact Center Technology projects implementing Genesys and related third party applications and custom applications for our customers
  • Follow Voxai Project Management Methodology, including documented policies and processes, in developing detailed project plans and completing required project documentation.
  • Conduct project discovery, develop project teams, define objectives and scope, document current and future-state processes, document risks and assumptions, and oversee development, testing, and implementation.
  • Understands the links and dependencies between an engagement and other in-flight projects and/or business initiatives.
  • Conduct project kick-off meetings, communicate individual roles and project expectations, and serve as a single point of contact for projects.
  • Complete and manage detailed project plans using the designated project and portfolio management software tool.
  • Utilize designated project software tool to report project status, manage issues, and document risks.
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with project owners, business functions, IT, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates expert ability in PMO management including executing and managing the processes and the interactions used to plan, acquire, assign, develop and manage the resources that operate a PMO
  • Strong executive presence, communication skills, and self-direction
  • Ability to lead as an individual contributor and work across multiple leveraged teams to meet deliverables for the client
  • Periodic provision of thought leadership to the Voxai PMO toolkit.
  • Coordinate Post-Project Review meetings for completed projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

 

Education:

  • High School diploma/GED with 4 years of experience, Associate's degree with 2 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree required. 
  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience

Work Experience:

  • Prior experience as a project manager or in a similar position
  • Knowledge and ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously 
  • Proficiency with project management software and tools
  • Technology Service provider industry experience is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to translate ITIL principles into practice
  • ITIL certification higher than foundation level (e.g., intermediate, expert, master) is preferred or gained within 6 months of employment
  • Prior ITSM and/or Call Center experience
