Assembler - Weekend Shift

JOB SUMMARY:

Perform repetitive assembly operations to assemble units or sub-assemblies having a limited number of parts and details, with simple fitting and adjustment requirements.

Shift: This is a Weekend Shift position; Sunday, Friday, & Saturday

Shift Premium: $3.00/hour

Bonus Hours: 4 Hour Bonus (Work 36 Hours, Get Paid 40!)

Hours: 6:00am - 6:00pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

· Setup, inspect and approve assembly process

· Assemble units or sub-assemblies

· Use assembly fixtures and power type bench tools

· Solder or unit test – or similar operations

· Inspect parts and recognize defective parts

· Perform other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· Must have a high school diploma or GED

· Must have at least 6 months previous manufacturing experience

· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis

· Must be fluent using a computer

· Must have reliable transportation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Previous assembly experience

· Previous hand tool experience

· Previous measuring experience

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:

· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis

· Must be able to read gauges

· Must be able to wear eye and hearing protection

· Must be able to use basic math skills

· Must be able to stand 10-12 hours a day

· Must be able to work in a hot environment up to 120 degrees
