Carolina Masonry and Concrete has been a trusted leader in Charlotte and surrounding areas for 20 years, providing full-service masonry, stone, and concrete solutions. We're growing, and we're looking for a hardworking, dedicated, and collaborative Hardscape Foreman to join us!
We need a skilled Hardscape Foreman with 2+ years of experience in residential and commercial projects. You'll be responsible for directing, supervising, and working alongside crew members to expertly install pavers, natural stone, and retaining walls.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a team environment and is committed to delivering the highest standards in customer service, quality, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee assigned hardscape installation projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, timeliness, and budget.
- Equip your team with the necessary tools and materials for successful project completion.
- Effectively manage time, productivity, project budgets, and material records.
- Maintain consistent and timely communication with customers, team members, and managers throughout each project.
- Ensure strict adherence to project plans and maintain exceptional work quality.
- Communicate effectively with management, crew, and clients to meet all project deadlines.
- Accurately complete all necessary job site and company paperwork, including daily reports.
- Read, understand, and effectively communicate hardscape plan drawings and specification documents.
- Ensure the job site is kept neat and organized at the end of each workday.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
What You Bring:
- 2+ years of experience in directing, supervising, and installing hardscape projects.
- Ownership of a reliable pick-up truck or van capable of transporting tools to and from job sites.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift 80 lbs unassisted.
- Comfortable working at heights.
- Proficiency in operating heavy and power tools (skid steers, compact excavators, trenchers, etc.).
- Ability to endure repetitive bending and twisting motions.
