Summary

City Market Co-Op is seeking a Front End Manager to oversee Front End operations and ensure the highest standard of prompt, friendly, and efficient customer service to the City Market customer. As a member of the Management team, you will be a driving force in fostering a safe and welcoming environment to our staff, vendors, customers, and community.

Day-to-Day Duties

  • Oversee all Front End operations, including staffing, setting/meeting goals, department budgeting and ensuring accurate cash handling and cash control to meet or exceed department financial objectives.
  • Supervise employees, hire, coach, follow established personnel policies and utilize appropriate recognition, training, development, as well as corrective action practices with all Front End employees.
  • Work with Facilities and IT departments to ensure proper functioning and maintenance of all technological and mechanical systems in the Front End. 
  • Ensure compliance with established City Market procedures and practices regarding operations, sales, safety, and security.
  • May be required to perform other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years management experience including but not limited to hiring, training, evaluating, coaching, and developing staff.
  • Minimum of five years experience developing & implementing budgets and adhering to labor cost requirements
  • Experience managing employees required, solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, and public speaking and presentation skills essential.
