Job Title/Position: Activity Barn Teammate- Seasonal/Part-time
 
Reports To: Activity Barn Supervisor and Activity Barn Manager

Job Summary/Essential Functions:
The Activity Barn team member will facilitate various activities for members and guests. This is a member-facing role with a high level of hospitality required, strong group management skills, and strong organizational skills. This position requires weekend availability.

Job Duties:
  • Greets members and their guests upon arrival, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Sets up and facilitates activities designated by supervisor and manager.
  • Supports weekly and monthly activity programs.
  • Maintains a safety mindset during activities.
  • Adapts to changing needs and requests.
  • Stocks Activity Barn daily.
  • Communicates consistently with teammates and members.
  • Sets up and stages activities for member events.
  • Knowledgeable about club activity offerings.
  • Offers detailed information about club amenities, services, and activities.
  • Anticipates and responds to members' requests and inquires with promptness and professionalism.
  • Maintains strong relationships with members to foster a sense of community and belonging.
  • Collaborates with other departments to ensure a cohesive and high-quality experience for members.
  • Handles member feedback and complaints with sensitivity and professionalism.
  • Ensures that all areas are clean and well maintained.
  • Adheres to health and safety regulations and club policies.
  • Performs other duties and supports other departments as needed.

Licenses and Special Requirements:
  • CPR/ First Aid
  • Exercise or fitness certifications

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  • Occasionally exposed to outdoor environment.
  • Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions.
  • Must be able to handle frequent repetitive motions, including but not limited to bending, squatting, stooping, pulling, climbing, twisting.
  • Must be able to stand and move around for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able and willing to meet the physical demands of the position.

Classification: seasonal, part-time, non-exempt

Must be able to work Friday to Sunday throughout the summer. 


Education/Experience:
  • Preferred experience working with, coaching, or managing children.
  • Preferred Outdoor Education or Experiential Education background.
  • Personal recreation and leisure activity driven.
