POSITION SUMMARY:
Cleveland Area Hospital is seeking a creative, energetic, and detail-oriented Graphic Designer / Brand & Communications Coordinator to join our Marketing team. This position plays a key role in strengthening the hospital’s brand, supporting internal communications, and creating high-quality design and messaging.
PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Graphic Design & Creative Production
· Design and produce high-quality marketing and communication materials, including brochures, flyers, billboards, digital ads, signage, event materials, presentations, and internal communication pieces.
· Prepare print-ready files and coordinate production needs as required.
Brand Management & Visual Consistency
· Help protect and strengthen the Cleveland Area Hospital brand by ensuring all messaging and visuals reflect organizational values, tone, and identity standards.
· Assist in maintaining templates, style guides, and brand assets to support consistency across departments.
Content & Communications
· Develop and coordinate communication content for internal and external audiences, including social media, website updates, print materials, and digital communication.
· Contribute to planning and promoting outreach events and efforts, public awareness campaigns, community partnerships, and hospital initiatives.
Photography & Video
· Support photography and videography needs, including capturing and editing content.
Collaboration & Department support
· Partner with departments across the organization to gather information, understand project needs, and ensure communication is accurate, timely, and on brand.
· Contribute creative ideas and solutions that improve communication effectiveness and engagement.
Professionalism & Adaptability
· Maintain professionalism and discretion while working in a healthcare setting.
· Respond calmly and clearly during sensitive or fast-moving situations.
· Manage multiple priorities and deadlines with strong organization and attention to detail.

Requirements:Qualifications:
Degree or Certifications in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related fields preferred but not required.
Required Skills & Abilities
· Strong graphic design skills with a portfolio demonstrating layout, branding, and visual communication ability.
· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) or equivalent professional design tools.
· Exceptional written, verbal, and in-person communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and represent the organization professionally.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and brand consistency.
· Skilled in managing multiple projects and deadlines with organization.
· A self-starter who works well both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
EXPERIENCE:
2-5 years’ professional experience in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
RESPONSIBILITY FOR CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION:
This position could have access to patient confidential records and must comply with HIPAA
regulations as well as Compliance Policies.
