About the Role: 


We’re looking for a high-impact Account Manager to lead growth across Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Department of War (DoD) customer sets. This role is for someone who thrives at the intersection of operations, technology, and acquisition, and wants to put real capability into the hands of operators fast. 

This is not a traditional sales role. You’ll be trusted to own accounts end-to-end, have an incredible amount of autonomy to shape demand early, and translate advanced radar technology into decisive operational outcomes. 


What You’ll Own 


You’ll serve as the single-threaded owner for a portfolio that includes customer sets across both the Department of War (DoW) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). On the DoW side, this ranges from Combatant Commands such as INDOPACOM, NORTHCOM, and EUCOM; to Service PEOs and PMs across the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps; rapid acquisition organizations and labs; the Missile Defense Agency; and stakeholders in force protection, air and missile defense, counterUAS, expeditionary sensing, and maritime domain awareness. Within DHS, your portfolio includes agencies such as CBP—including Air & Marine Operations and Border Patrol—along with TSA, FEMA, and the U.S. Coast Guard. In this role, you’ll engage directly with operators, engineers, program managers, contracting officers, and senior leaders, not just buyers.

What you’ll do: 


Help Drive Growth (Not Just Transactions) 

  • Identify and pursue opportunities across OTAs, BAAs, RFIs, RFPs, pilots, and rapid fielding efforts. 
  • Build and execute account strategies aligned to customer priorities, budgets, and timelines. 
  • Balance near-term wins with long-term account positioning. 

Tell the Story That Wins 

  • Translate complex radar and sensing capabilities into clear mission value. 
  • Lead briefings, demonstrations and field discussions with credibility. 
  • Build win themes around speed-to-field, operational advantage, survivability, and cost realism. 

Lead Capture & Teaming 

  • Drive capture strategy, competitive positioning, and teaming decisions. 
  • Bring the customer voice into every opportunity 
  • Know when to partner—and when to go solo. 

Shape the Company 

  • Feed real customer insight back into product, engineering, and leadership. 
  • Influence roadmap, investment, and growth strategy decisions. 
  • Help build the Growth Office playbook as we scale. 
Requirements:
  •  5-7 years in federal sales, BD, capture, or account management 
  • Maintain a strong understanding of sensing technologies (e.g., ground surveillance radar, maritime radar, counter UAS radar, 3D/4D radar, phased array systems). 
  • Proven success with DoD and/or DHS customers; track federal budget priorities, acquisition programs, and emerging mission needs 
  • Experience building a 0 to 1 opportunity line with a net new customer 
  • Strong grasp of FAR, OTAs, and alternative acquisition pathways 
  • Comfortable engaging operators, engineers, PMs, contracting officers, and senior leaders 
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences
  • Travel is required up to 25%

Bonus Points

  • Experience with any or several of the following: Combatant Commands, Service PEOs and PAEs, rapid capability offices, CBP Air and Marine Operations, Border Patrol, TSA, CISA or USCG  
  • Radar, sensors, EW, or integrated air & missile defense background 
  • Established network of government and industry contacts in the defense and homeland security acquisition ecosystem 
  • Experience with large-scale capture efforts, IDIQ vehicles, and multi-year technology-focused programs
