We are seeking a driven, community-minded individual to join our team as an independent Insurance Agent. This role is ideal for a proactive leader passionate about making a tangible local impact. You’ll sell insurance products and spearhead initiatives that address community needs, positioning our agency as a trusted ally.Compensation:
$66,000+ at plan
Responsibilities:- Build relationships with local organizations (schools, farm organizations, chambers of commerce) to identify partnership opportunities
- Stay updated on industry trends and compliance requirements
- Build and manage a diverse client base by providing personalized insurance solutions
- Educate clients on coverage options, ensuring policies align with their needs
- Manage day-to-day operations, including marketing, sales, and customer service
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- 5+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or business development; insurance experience is an advantage
- A background or familiarity with farming or agriculture is a plus
- Passionate about giving back to the community and making a positive impact
- Active insurance license (or willingness to obtain)
- Insurance and sales experience a plus
