Position Description: Were looking for an organized and driven Staff Accountant to join our growing team at our company. The Staff Accountant position will work closely with our other accountants and operations personnel and handle day-to-day bookkeeping. Were an energetic company and are looking for a passionate individual to join our organization and revitalize our record keeping and bring more organization to our day to day financials. Position Responsibilities: 25.00% - Perform monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination and completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports/support as necessary 25.00% - Analyze and report on financial status including income statement variances, communicating financial results to management, budget preparation and analysis 25.00% - Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions 25.00% - Oversee taxes and abide by federal regulations. Job Skills:
  • 1-3 years accounting experience
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software and databases
  • CPA certification
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, project management and communication skills
  • Experience with SaaS companies
  • Expertise with QuickBooks
  • Extensive knowledge of US GAAP
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Accounting Principles - Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software and databases Degree - BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree - Or equivalent work experience. Experience with VIP - Experience with VIP Microsoft Office - Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables. Physical Requirements: Must be physically able to operate a variety of machines and equipment including computer, office equipment, telephone, etc. Physical demands are essentially those of sedentary work. Tasks may require extended periods of time at a keyboard or workstation. Additional Information:


  • Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
    1. Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
    2. Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
    3. Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
    4. Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
    Job Advertisement: We are looking for an Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.
    Accountant responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes.
    Ultimately, you will provide us with accurate quantitative information on financial position, liquidity and cash flows of our business, while ensuring were compliant with all tax regulations.
