Fuel/Lube Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Help load and deliver fuel to various job sites and fuel heavy equipment.
• Pre-trip and post-trip of equipment (checking oil, water, lights, tires, etc.)
• Properly load and unload; handling, hooking, unhooking hoses
• Operating pumps and valves for loading and unloading, both on and off the truck
• Reads gauges or meters and records quantity loaded or unloaded.
• Evaluating the dangers of the location and judging the different methods and plans and understanding the application of first aid, as and when the situations demand
• Safely fill tanks of all types and sizes using various size hoses, nozzles, and fittings
• Accurately complete driver logs, pre and post trip forms, invoices and other paperwork as required.
• Fuel and lubricate truck and trailer.
• Be familiar and able to comply with all applicable federal, state, local and company rules and regulations that are in accordance with safe operations of cargo tank motor vehicle.

Job Requirements:
DRIVER REQUIREMENTS:

• 22 years of age (Minimum age requirement)
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen.
• Be able to work well with others.
• Work well with minimal supervision
• Willing to learn and perform a variety of job tasks.
• Must be able to work outside and in a variety of temperature and weather conditions.
• Work in a safety conscious environment

• Able to work long periods including evenings and weekends when necessary.
