About the role:
The QAQC Tech will be responsible for implementing company’s Mission Critical HVAC Control QAQC plan, under supervision of the QAQC manager. This includes office-based analytical and reporting work, as well as traveling to any job site in the field to perform conformance checks and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- · Review DDC Drawings for scope compliance, sequence of operations accuracy, and other contract specification requirements
- · Assist in development and of standardized documentation to align workflow with ISO 9001
- · Assist in the creation of a standardized file system
- · Facilitate interdepartmental QAQC with all departments
- · Review and adopt customer quality programs and standards
- · Review project schedules and coordinate with Project Managers to ensure timely arrival of QAQC personnel to job sites
- · Evaluate onsite teams for QAQC compliance
- · Act as Divcon’s representative with customer and contractor quality teams
- · Facilitate TAB support and commissioning responsibilities alongside site teams as needed
- · Ensure construction teams are prepared for major milestones and commissioning
Qualifications:
- · 3+ years experience in similar QAQC roles
- · 3+ years experience working with ISO 9001 standard
- · Strong attention to detail
- · Proficiency with Excel and Word
- · BIM software experience preferred
- · Ability to work unsupervised, self-starter
- · HVAC Automation experience a preferred
- · Aptitude for technical data processing
- · Analytically oriented
Physical Requirements
- · This role requires frequent travel by plane or carto job sites, up to 50% of the time.
- · Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout job sites for extended periods
- · Ability to climb ladders, stairs and lifts as required
- · Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and work in tight or confined spaces
- · Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment and materials up to 50 pounds
- · Manual dexterity to handle tools, wiring, and small components
- · Ability to work at heights and in varying indoor and outdoor conditions
- · Visual keenness to read schematics, labels, and digital displays
- · Ability to hear and respond to alarms, equipment sounds, and verbal instructions
- · Capability to safely operate hand and power tools
