Compensation: Base salary + 10% nocturnist differential and 10k sign on bonus

About Sinai Hospital of Baltimore Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, a leading healthcare provider in the region, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - Nocturnist to join our Hospital Medicine team. As a member of our team, you will provide direct and indirect patient care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient safety and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Patient Care: Provide comprehensive care, including physical exams, health history evaluations, and diagnostic assessments.

Collaboration: Work with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers to manage patient care.

Diagnostics & Procedures: Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work, X-rays, and other studies. Perform diagnostic procedures such as blood draws, smears, and urinalysis.

Medical Interventions: Diagnose and treat both acute and chronic conditions. Prescribe medications in collaboration with licensed physicians.

Patient Education: Provide health education to patients and families on disease prevention, medications, and lifestyle changes.

Crisis Intervention: Offer medical advice and crisis management when needed, including by phone.

Teamwork: Collaborate with healthcare staff, physicians, and community agencies to ensure holistic patient care.

Education & Training: Develop educational programs for staff, medical students, and community agencies. Participate in training programs, seminars, and team meetings.

Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to quality standards, infection control procedures, and hospital policies to ensure optimal patient care.

Requirements Licensing: Current Maryland Physician Assistant or CRNP License.

Certifications: DEA Controlled Substance Registration, Controlled Dangerous Substances License (or eligibility to obtain).

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced hospital environment. Excellent communication skills and clinical judgment.

Preferred Qualifications Experience in Hospital Medicine or Nocturnist roles.

Prior experience in a fast-paced, acute care setting.

Familiarity with EMR systems and hospital policies.
