About this position

Responsibilities:

Support daily facility operations by performing routine maintenance and general upkeep tasks. Duties include minor repairs, painting, assembling and disassembling shelving, moving furniture, equipment, and materials, building and installing office furniture, and assisting with facility setup, reconfiguration, and organization. This role may also assist with basic preventative maintenance, workspace preparations, and maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly facility environment. Perform basic janitorial and custodial duties as needed, including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and general cleaning of facility areas. Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other basic maintenance equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines; appropriate training and safety equipment will be provided. Follow assigned work instructions and coordinate tasks with supervisors or team members as needed. Reports to the Corporate Facilities Manager.

 

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or graduate equivalency diploma (GED)
  • High school students will be permitted to work prior to graduation if they are 18 or older
  • A valid driver’s license is required if the employee will be transporting goods by car or truck
  • Onsite training is required to perform job duties that involve operating a fork truck and/or using tools, machinery, or equipment
