We are growing and looking for a motivated Fire Alarm Inspector to join our team. Experience in fire alarm inspection is preferred, but we also welcome candidates with an electrical background who are eager to learn and grow in the life safety industry.

What You'll Do
  • Perform testing and inspection of fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA standards
  • Identify deficiencies and document findings clearly and professionally
  • Troubleshoot system components including panels, devices, relays, and circuits
  • Work independently or alongside team members in the field
  • Communicate findings effectively with customers and internal teams

What We're Looking For

Preferred Experience:
  • 1+ years of experience testing and inspecting fire alarm systems
  • Working knowledge of NFPA 72 testing and inspection requirements
  • NICET I or II in Fire Alarm Systems or Test & Inspections (a plus, not required)

OR
  • Electrical Background with Willingness to Learn:
  • Experience in electrical installation, service, or maintenance
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Understanding of switches, relays, inputs/outputs, and control equipment
  • Familiarity with ground faults, open/shorted circuits, and troubleshooting
  • Experience using a multimeter (butt-set knowledge is helpful but not required)
  • Strong mechanical and technical aptitude

Physical & Job Requirements
  • Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights (including lifts)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Able to work independently with strong time management
  • At least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Physically able to perform trade-related work
  • Must pass a drug screening
  • Military applicants must have a discharge status other than dishonorable (if applicable)
