Job Summary :
We're seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team, specializing in medium voltage electrical systems, panel design, automation, and integration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing control system hardware using Allen-Bradley controls. Experience in chemical plant or industrial gas operations is a plus, but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement medium voltage electrical systems, including panel design and layout
- Develop and implement automation and control systems using Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMI, and SCADA systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical and automation systems
- Conduct site visits and surveys to assess existing electrical infrastructure and identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop and maintain electrical design documentation, including schematics, one-line diagrams, equipment load estimation, and panel layouts
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues, including fault analysis and repair
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, including NFPA, NEMA, NEC, and IEEE
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to specify/procure electrical equipment and materials
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on medium voltage systems and automation
- 3+ years of experience with Allen-Bradley controls, including PLCs, HMI, and SCADA systems, medium voltage circuit design
- 3+ years of experience with panel design and layout, including electrical schematics and one-line diagrams
- 3+ years of experience with AutoCAD, ProfiCAD, or equivalent design software
- Working knowledge of applicable electrical codes and standards, including NFPA, NEC, NEMA, IEEE
- Must be within 1 hour commute from Oviedo, Florida site. Relocation assistance provided.

Additional Skills Preferred but not required:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Chemical plant experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to interpret P&IDs and process flow diagrams
- Experience with other automation platforms, such as Siemens or GE
- Knowledge of process control systems and instrumentation
- Experience with project management and team leadership
Physical Requirements:
- This position requires using hands to troubleshoot equipment, close vision and dexterity with fingers
- This position requires an individual to sit, stand, and move about the facility
- Ability to lift 40lbs
