Description:
Purpose of the Job:
The International Shipping Clerk is responsible for coordinating and processing international shipments of aircraft parts while ensuring compliance with aviation and export regulations.
Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare shipping documents (commercial invoices, air waybills, export declarations, etc).
- Scanning, digitizing, and attaching related documents to inventory control management system
- Verify part numbers, serial numbers, and certification documents (FAA 8130-3, EASA Form 1, etc).
- Ensure compliance with ITAR, EAR, and other export regulations.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers. (Experience with UPS, Fed Ex, and DHL a plus)
- Package aircraft parts according to industry standards.
- Track shipments and maintain accurate records in ERP systems.
- Resolve shipping or customs issues as needed.
- Locating, picking, checking, staging, assembling, packaging, labeling, and preparing customer orders for shipment
- Performing quality inspection prior to shipment
- Basic computer knowledge
- 1-2 years of shipping experience (international preferred)
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
- Hazmat experience preferred
- Must be highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work well under pressure

- Pentagon (company software) Basics
- Export & ITAR Compliance
- Aerospace Industry Quality Training (Which includes QMS training, FAA 00 56, Traceability, 8130-3 documents, PAH’s, ESD, Suspected unapproved Parts, Shelf Life/LLP’s, AD’s, ATA Spec 300, PMA
- Forklift experience
- S3 Hazmat training
- Other Trainings as assigned
- 90 Day Probation OJT
