Summary

We're seeking a talented Application Engineer specializing in liquid processing to join our industry‑leading equipment manufacturing team. In this role, you'll be the technical expert supporting our sales organization – translating customer needs into engineered process solutions, shaping system designs, and helping secure key projects.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead technical discussions to understand customer process requirements, product characteristics, and system challenges
  • Develop and recommend complete liquid processing solutions, including integration with existing systems
  • Serve as the technical consultant during the sales cycle, addressing process questions and recommending improvements
  • Conduct on‑site evaluations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth equipment installation and startup
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve technical challenges and deliver customer‑ready solutions
  • Stay current on liquid processing technologies, industry trends, and competitive offerings
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of liquid processing systems, including pumps, valves, tanks, piping, controls, and sanitary design principles is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related engineering field or 3+ years of relevant experience is required.
  • Experience with pneumatic/hydraulic systems, conveyors, and process equipment integration is required.
  • CAD proficiency (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) and familiarity with PLC‑based controls are a plus.
  • Some travel is required (15 - 20%).
