Part-Time Pet Tech Associate

Location: Carol Stream


Do you love working with dogs and want to be part of a team that makes a difference every day? The Gold Leash Pet Hotel & Daycare is hiring a Part-Time Pet Tech Associate to join our team and help provide the highest level of care for our boarding and daycare guests.

What You’ll Do:

  • Supervise and monitor dogs in group play sessions, ensuring safe and positive interactions.
  • Provide individualized attention and enrichment when needed.
  • Maintain clean and sanitary kennels, play areas, and common spaces throughout the day.
  • Complete “Furever Reports” with notes, photos, and videos to showcase each pet’s stay.
  • Communicate effectively with managers and team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist new team members by modeling protocols and teamwork.
  • Learn and apply safe handling techniques, with a focus on understanding canine body language.

Job Requirements:

  • Comfortable working with all breeds and temperaments.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and work ethic.
  • Love to clean and maintain a high standard of sanitation.
  • Reliable, dependable, and hardworking.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, busy environment.
  • Previous animal care experience (kennel, daycare, or vet clinic preferred).
  • Flexible schedule — able to work shifts between 5 AM – 8 PM, including weekends/holidays.
  • Dependable transportation.
