Wage Range: $15 - $18 (DOE)


The Parts Receiver & Inventory Clerk is responsible for receiving incoming parts shipments, verifying accuracy, organizing and labeling parts to ensure accuracy in the inventory records. This position is also responsible for maintaining accurate records and organizing relevant documentation and reporting and discrepancies to the Parts Manager.

Job Duties:

· Receive and inspect all incoming shipments for accuracy and damage

· Verify packing slips, purchase orders and part numbers to ensure correct items are received

· Accurately label and store parts in designated areas according to company procedures

· Assist with returns and credits and coordinating with vendors

· Maintain and update inventory records using the appropriate software

· Perform regular cycle counts and assist in full inventory audits

· Report discrepancies and/or damaged goods to the Parts Manager when needed

· Keep the parts area clean, organized and safe

· Assist other department with locating and pulling parts for work orders or other projects as needed

· Act as a backup attending to customers as needed

· Follow safety process and procedures

· Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  

Required Qualifications: 

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Previous experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving or inventory management preferred

· Basic computers skills; experience with inventory software a plus

· Ability to lift to 50 lbs. or more with assistance

· Forklift Certification a plus or willingness to become certified 

Physical Setting/Physical Requirements:

· Ability to complete tasks that are physically demanding such as climbing ladders, crouching, crawling, bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching or lifting overhead, reaching at or below the shoulder

· Gross manipulation of hands/fingers the ability to grasp and hold tools such as wire cutters, snips, scissors.

· Ability to work in tight or cramped spaces

· Ability to use legs, feet and/or hands to control machinery or heavy equipment such as pressing buttons, using levers, pressing on pedals 

· Standing for long periods of time 

· Moving around such as walking for long periods of time

· Clarity of vision both at a distance and close up

· Clarity of hearing with the ability to distinguish sound and speech such as machinery and alarms

Salary Information
