Bid Coordinator
Position: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Required Education: HS Diploma and/or GED Equivalent

About the Position:
Block Iron is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Bid Coordinator to join our team. This entry-level role is a critical part of our bidding and sales process, responsible for gathering, organizing and managing information to help our company make well-informed bidding and sales decisions This is an excellent opportunity to begin a long-term career with advancement potential within our growing business.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Compile and organize all invitations-to-bid and related project documentation for Division 8 projects.

Conduct preliminary project scoping to determine size, materials, and schedules.

Download and manage construction documents, and occasionally print bid packages.

Attend regular bid and sales meetings to support the estimating and sales teams.

Communicate effectively with estimators, sales staff and customers to distribute to project details.

Field phone calls and coordinate with clients regarding bid information, project timelines, and updates.

Maintain accurate records and ensure timely submission of all bid materials.
Minimum Qualifications:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).

Proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets, Gmail, Drive).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – both verbal and written.

Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Detail-oriented with strong work ethic.

Must pass a pre-employment drug test.

Familiarity with blueprint reading and specification interpretation is preferred, but not required.
