Job Summary
The QCI Manager is responsible for the overall quality and continuous improvement strategy at the plant. This role leads the QCI team, develops and implements the site’s quality management system, and drives process innovation. The Manager is accountable for plant-level results and reports directly to the QCI Director. This role provides strategic leadership and is the highest QCI authority at the site.

Responsibilities
Quality Management
- Develop, implement, and maintain the plant’s quality management system.
- Lead strategic CI initiatives and Lean workshops.
- Oversee audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
- Analyze data and trends to drive improvement.
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting.
Continuous Improvement
- Oversee training and development for the QCI team.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and share best practices.
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
Documentation & Reporting
- Utilize data and metrics to assess effectiveness of quality and CI initiatives.
- Generate regular reports for site and senior leadership.
- Maintain SOPs and ensure documentation accuracy.
Communication & Collaboration
- Partner with production, engineering, and other departments.
- Communicate effectively at all levels to drive change.
Qualifications
Skill / Qualification
Required / Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience -Required
5+ years in quality management and CI, with leadership experience-Required
Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills-Required
Knowledge of quality management systems, Lean, Six Sigma-Required
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite-Required
Advanced degree or certifications in quality/CI-Preferred
Certified Six Sigma Black Belt-Preferred
Knowledge of printing technologies, Print on Demand, or related sectors-Preferred
Working Conditions
· Significant walking, bending, standing.
· Physical activities include reaching, pulling, pushing, gripping, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
· Prolonged periods at a desk/computer as needed.
