About the Role:
  • The Center for Hope Mental Health Therapist provides outpatient comprehensive, evaluative counseling and therapy services to participants of the mental health program at Center for Hope.
KEY RESPONSIBILITLIES:
  • Uses clinical knowledge, skills and values to effectively manage, plan and implement mental health interventions appropriate for survivors of psychological trauma.
  • Responsible for providing therapy services. Interacts with families, as needed, responding to questions when appropriate.
  • Completes thorough evaluations and conducts ongoing treatment for participants in the caseload.
  • Functions as a therapist and supports the goals of the mental health program at Center for Hope.
  • Participates in weekly clinical supervision with mental health program manager, weekly group peer consultation, and multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
  • Develops and administers culturally appropriate treatment plan for participants and integrates cultural considerations into service delivery.
  • Assures documentation supports the delivery of treatment as defined by state regulations.
  • Performs other program related duties as assigned. Completes required clinical documentation and supervision to maintain license.
  • Communicates with other professionals involved in the participant's care to ensure coordinated treatment.
  • Utilizes multi-disciplinary resources to enhance delivery of care and works with all disciplines to promote optimal mental health and improve client outcomes and services provided.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Master's degree
  • Certification/Licensure: LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC or LCPC
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience, Fluency in written and spoken language (Spanish) required.  Demonstrated experience providing services using trauma-informed approach. Must be available 3 evenings a week (10 am to 7 pm) to provide therapy sessions to participants. Hybrid in-office/remote flexibility as needed for virtual sessions for clients. Center for Hope Mental Health operates Monday-Thursday from 10 am to 7 pm and Fridays from 9 am to 5 pm.
