The Surveillance Agent I at Santa Clara Development (SCDCB) plays a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of the facility by monitoring activities and ensuring compliance with established protocols. This position involves the vigilant observation of surveillance equipment and the prompt identification of any suspicious or unauthorized behavior. The agent will be responsible for documenting incidents accurately and coordinating with security personnel to respond effectively to potential threats. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of surveillance systems and security protocols.
- Ability to observe and analyze situations attentively and objectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for accurate reporting.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a security or surveillance role.
- Familiarity with digital video recording (DVR) and networked surveillance systems.
- Certification in security or surveillance operations (e.g., Certified Protection Professional, Security Officer Certification).

Responsibilities:
- Monitor live surveillance feeds and recorded footage to detect and report unusual or suspicious activities.
- Conduct regular inspections of surveillance equipment to ensure proper functionality and report any malfunctions.
- Maintain detailed logs and reports of observations, incidents, and security breaches in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with security teams and management to respond promptly to incidents and support investigations.
