Material Specialist

DFA US Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Material Specialist to join our team. The Material Specialist will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient flow of materials from suppliers to production lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in manufacturing processes and a desire to grow within a dynamic company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to support production needs while minimizing excess stock.
• Material Coordination: Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Data Analysis: Track and analyze material usage patterns, forecast demand, and identify potential supply chain issues.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of material transactions, including receipts, transfers, and inventory adjustments.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in the material handling process.
• Collaboration: Partner with the production team to understand material requirements and resolve any supply chain issues that may impact production schedules.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all materials meet quality standards and specifications before they are released to production.
•  Reporting: Prepare and present reports on inventory levels, material usage, and supplier performance to the Supply Chain Manager.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
