About this position
Our client, a global leader in power management and intelligent transportation technologies, is hiring Maintenance Repair Technicians (CNC) to support their high-performing team in Syracuse, NY. This is a critical onsite position supporting the 2nd shift, responsible for troubleshooting and repairing complex CNC machinery to keep manufacturing operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in CNC machinery
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment, replacing or rebuilding components per safety standards
- Adjust equipment to meet operational specifications and validate performance
- Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical malfunctions using advanced diagnostic techniques
- Interpret ladder logic, schematics, and complex circuit diagrams
- Conduct electrical testing, troubleshoot printed circuit boards, and perform precise repairs
- Maintain effective communication with supervisors about unusual conditions or breakdowns

Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrical/mechanical maintenance in manufacturing
- Strong understanding of ladder logic, schematics, and industrial motor control
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Must reside within 50 miles of Syracuse, NY
Preferred:
- CNC machine maintenance experience
- Technical degree in electronics or relevant military electronics background
- Familiarity with hydraulic systems and mechanical blueprint reading
- 2–5 years’ experience in manufacturing maintenance roles
Salary & Benefits:
- Hourly Pay: $34.86/hr ($72,508 annually)
