Position Description:
Sumary:
To support the daily warehouse operations by receiving, verifying, storing, preparing, and dispatching cargo in an accurate and timely manner. This role ensures inventory control, operational efficiency, and a safe and organized warehouse environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive, verify, and record incoming cargo.
- Organize and store inventory in designated areas.
- Pick and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Load and unload cargo from trucks and containers.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure accurate inventory movements.
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards.
- Inspect cargo for damage or discrepancies.
- Label cargo and process basic inbound/outbound paperwork.
- Support periodic physical inventories and cycle counts.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and safety protocols.
- Report any damages, discrepancies, or irregularities.
- Properly use warehouse tools and equipment.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 1 year in warehouse or logistics operations.
- Experience in freight forwarding or international cargo handling is preferred.
