Position Summary

The Product Manager will lead the development and enhancement of Opus’s automotive diagnostics and vehicle services solutions. They will work cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to define product strategy, gather customer insights, and drive product lifecycle from concept to launch. The ideal candidate has strong technical acumen, experience in the automotive or SaaS industry, and a passion for delivering customer-centric solutions.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for successful OPUS IVS product launches, including existing product lines and future development efforts.
  • Accountable for robust and effective communication between Engineering, Marketing, and Business Development teams for product development, customer requirements and internal resource allocation.
  • Oversee and ensure processes and measurements for product forecasting, coordinating with Purchasing, Manufacturing and Business Development.
  • Partner with Business Development and Senior Management Team (SMT) on National Account/OEM projects, providing subject matter expertise to refine customer requirements, current and future.
  • Manage product license agreements, EULAs, and customer workflow with Operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or other related field
  • Minimum of 5 years in a product management and product development role
  • Successful customer research experience
  • Experience with product roadmaps
  • Ability to provide competitive analysis
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools and MS Office Suite
  • Experience with agile and scrum development processes
  • PMP certification is desired
