Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Service Electrician to perform service calls at commercial properties. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in a variety of commercial settings, including offices, retail spaces, warehouses, and other facilities. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in commercial environments.
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems including lighting, panels, circuits, outlets, and wiring.
- Perform inspections and ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues, solutions, and estimates.
- Complete work orders, service reports, and documentation accurately.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good condition.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with dispatch, office staff, and other technicians to ensure customer satisfaction.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid state Journeyman Electrician License (as required by local jurisdiction).
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in commercial electrical service.
- Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) and local codes.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
