Job Description:

The Cook prepares and presents high-quality food according to restaurant standards. This role coordinates with other kitchen staff, manages multiple orders, and ensures proper food handling and sanitation.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items for breakfast, lunch, or dinner service
  • Follow recipes and adjust cooking times as needed
  • Maintain quality, portion control, and presentation of dishes
  • Coordinate timing with servers and other kitchen staff
  • Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations
  • Comply with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Assist with training and supervising kitchen staff as needed

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a cook or chef in a commercial kitchen
  • Ability to work all stations and prepare a variety of dishes
  • Knowledge of food safety and culinary techniques
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
