JOB SUMMARY:
The Branded Business Trade Marketing Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing trade marketing initiatives that support branded business objectives across retail, foodservice, and licensing channels. This role works closely with food chai (FCM), brand and marketing teams, agencies, retailers, foodservice partners, and licensees to ensure trade marketing strategies and tactics are delivered effectively and consistently. The Coordinator manages trade communications, trade shows, packaging design projects, and owned digital trade channels, while also tracking performance, ROI, and market insights to inform future strategy.


 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*:

• Liaise with Food Chain Manager(s) to develop effective trade marketing strategies and tactical plans aligned with branded business objectives.

• Brief external agencies and partners to deliver whole or partial elements of trade marketing tactics, ensuring clear objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

• Manage the creation of artwork and marketing assets, including coordination of reviews, revisions, and submission for internal and external approvals.

• Liaise with retailer and foodservice teams to ensure trade marketing plans are executed efficiently and effectively in market.

• Manage owned digital trade communications across relevant platforms (including LinkedIn, Bimi US website, Meta, and other channels) to support trade initiatives.

• Manage all trade communications, ensuring consistency of messaging, branding, and timing across channels.

• Plan, coordinate, and manage trade shows, including logistics, collateral, booth assets, agency support, and post-event follow-up.

• Attend and support key retailer and foodservice meetings, trade shows, and activations as required.

• Maintain regular communication with licensees to support trade initiatives, alignment, and execution.

• Manage packaging design projects, coordinating timelines, artwork development, approvals, and supplier handoffs.

• Report on trade marketing activity, including performance metrics and ROI where appropriate.

• Collate and analyze market insights to support trade marketing strategy and continuous improvement.

• Liaise with internal and external data providers to gather, manage, and interpret relevant trade and market data.

• Work in close collaboration with brand, marketing, sales, and marketing communications teams to ensure alignment and integration of trade marketing activities.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:

• Strong organizational, project management, and interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight timelines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience working with agencies, vendors, and cross-functional internal teams.

• Understanding of trade marketing, retail, and foodservice marketing, and branded business principles.

• Ability to analyze performance data and market insights to inform decision-making.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with Adobe Creative Suite strongly preferred.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and multi-cultural environment.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to brand consistency.

 EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Minimum of two years’ experience in trade marketing, marketing coordination, sales and marketing, or a related field.

• Experience in agriculture, produce, CPG, seed, or a related industry is desirable.


 EDUCATION REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.


 LICENSES / DEGREES / TRAINING:

• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.


 WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to work extended or irregular hours as needed, including occasional weekends.

• Ability to travel periodically throughout the year to attend trade shows, meetings, and activations.
