About the role

• The Legal Tax Aid supports the Tax Department by managing client matters from intake through closure, ensuring accurate documentation, timely communications, and compliance with IRS and firm procedures. This role requires strong attention to detail, familiarity with case management systems, and the ability to manage multiple matters efficiently. Experience in Tax Law is necessary. No recruiters.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a tax law firm, legal aid, or compliance-based legal role preferred.
• Familiarity with PracticePanther, CaseStatus, Jotform, or similar case management systems is a plus.
• Basic understanding of IRS procedures, including Form 2848 and CAF processing.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
