Purpose:

We're searching for a skilled Soldering Assembler with strong soldering expertise and knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards. In this role, you'll be responsible for meticulously assembling intricate RF components and circuits using precision soldering techniques. While IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certification isn't mandatory, candidates familiar with these standards will be prioritized. Your contribution will directly impact the production of high-quality electronic devices reliant on RF technology. 


Responsibilities:

  • Apply advanced soldering techniques to skillfully assemble and solder RF components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs), upholding the highest quality standards. 
  • Ability to pass written testing as well as onsite testing with tools and schematics 
  • Conduct thorough visual inspections of solder joints to ensure impeccable soldering quality, component alignment, and connections. 
  • Install circuit card assemblies (CCAs) within housings and chassis. 
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues, engineers, and supervisors to resolve assembly challenges and achieve optimal results. 
  • Operate soldering equipment, including soldering irons and stations, with unwavering attention to safety and precision. 
  • Offer insights and recommendations for refining processes, particularly those related to soldering techniques and quality enhancement. 
  • Adhere rigorously to safety protocols, company guidelines, and quality standards, ensuring exceptional outcomes. 
  • Follow production assembly instructions (AIs). 
  • Perform operations such as crimping, staking, screwing, bolting, soldering, cementing, press-fitting, or similar methods to secure components in place. 
  • Assemble and affix hardware. 
  • Execute epoxy bonding procedures. 
  • Make necessary adjustments or trims to components to meet specified electrical or dimensional criteria. 
  • Other duties may be assigned. 

 

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in soldering electronic components, especially RF components, with meticulous attention to detail. 
  • Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards for electronic assembly is desirable. 
  • Expertise in diverse soldering techniques, including surface mount and through-hole soldering. 
  • Fluency in using soldering irons, soldering stations, and associated tools. 
  • Adept hand soldering skills, proficiency in identifying solder defects, and competence in using hand tools and basic measuring devices.

Education:

  • High School Diploma


Experience:

  • A minimum of 1 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in the aerospace, satellite, or high-technology manufacturing sector.
