Havenwood SLC is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our medical team. We are a newly opened Residential Treatment Center serving adolescent males with early childhood trauma. Our mission is to provide world-class trauma treatment to those who wouldn’t otherwise receive care. This is an opportunity to be part of something bigger than yourself, making a real difference in the lives of young men on their healing journey.
This is a Part-Time position, approximately 10-20 hours per week, with the opportunity to grow to full time employment quickly as our enrollment grows.

4. A Day in the Life (What This Job Actually Looks Like)
This role is comparable to a School Nurse position within a therapeutic, residential setting, focusing on proactive health management and acute needs triage. A typical day as the Part-Time Registered Nurse at Havenwood SLC includes:
- Ensure accurate availability, organization, and dispensation of client medications at residential homes per safety protocols.
- Coordinate and manage all necessary external medical appointments (e.g., dental, vision, specialist) and treatments.
- Collaborate with the medical team, clinicians, and residential staff to integrate medical and therapeutic treatment plans.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date client medical records, demographics, and insurance documents.
- Accurately test and record patient vitals and health metrics as required by licensing and accreditation standards.
5. What Does Success Look Like?
Success in the Part-Time RN role is defined by clinical excellence, compassionate care, and seamless operational support:
- Flawless compliance with all medication management and documentation protocols (HIPAA, JCAHO, State Licensing).
- Efficient triage and effective coordination of client medical needs, resulting in minimal disruption to the student’s clinical and academic schedule.
- Positive collaboration and clear communication with the interdisciplinary team regarding client health status and required interventions.
- Client engagement and trust, where students feel safe and supported in addressing their physical health concerns.
6. Qualifications & Experience
- License/Certification: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (Required).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional nursing experience (preferred). Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, mental health, or residential treatment is a strong asset.

- Background: Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and TB test.
- Driving: Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
