Respite Program Evening Receptionist (part-time)

Summary: 

The Evening, Front Desk staff member, will be responsible for maintaining safety and security in the building during evening and weekend events held at the Easter Seals Crossroads location.

What you’ll do

Help incorporate a feeling of welcoming and a sense of security to our families

Able to communicate with families and children in a friendly, easygoing manner

Assuring the appropriate doors remain locked and parking lot is safe during events

Responsible for locking and securing building after event is over and all Respite staff have left

Communicate with Team Leads throughout evening to ensure smooth transitions for families and children

Maintain positive relationships with fellow staff, volunteers, parents/caregivers and children

Guide families and consumers to appropriate area for event if needed

Education and Experience 

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

List the minimum level of experience required to successfully perform the position.

Location and hours:

This position requires working on-location at 4740 Kingsway Drive, Indianapolis

Hours: 

4 Fridays per month, up to 3 Saturdays per month.The hours are generally from 5:00 pm-9:45 pm on Fridays and then 9:00 am-2:30 pm on Saturdays.
