Position Overview

Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Manager, the Night Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitization, and readiness of all hotel and spa areas during overnight hours. This role supports both the hotel and spa by maintaining guest-facing spaces, restaurants, massage rooms, and staff areas while restocking supplies to prepare for the following day’s operations.

Shifts: 11pm – 7am/Full-time/Permanent. Days, evenings & weekends.

Wage: $21

Key Responsibilities 

Cleaning & Sanitation 

• Thoroughly clean all hotel areas, including lobbies, restrooms, and staff areas (excluding hallways during overnight hours).
• Clean and sanitize all spa areas, including massage rooms, treatment rooms, saunas, steam rooms, relaxation lounges, lockers, and restrooms.
• Deep clean both the hotel restaurant and spa restaurant areas, including dining rooms, service stations, and floors.
• Empty all garbage and recycling bins, ensuring proper disposal procedures are followed.
• Mop and dust as required to maintain a pristine environment while minimizing noise overnight.

Restocking & Preparation

• Restock spa amenities, such as towels, linens, toiletries, and locker supplies.
• Ensure massage rooms, treatment areas, and storage rooms remain organized and fully stocked for spa attendants and housekeeping teams.

End-of-Shift Coordination

• Communicate with the morning spa attendant at the end of each shift to confirm cleanliness, supplies, and any maintenance needs.
• Report any damages, maintenance issues, or supply shortages to the appropriate department.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all hotel and spa safety, sanitation, and chemical handling procedures.
• Use cleaning equipment and products according to training and safety standards.

Requirements 

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred, especially in hotels or spas.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently during overnight hours.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to communicate effectively with team members.
• Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and equipment.
