Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Perform phlebotomy and catheterization procedures as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care services.

Experience
The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a nursing home, clinic, or ambulatory surgery center setting.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as Cerner.
• Familiarity with ICD-10 coding for accurate medical documentation.
• Experience administering injections and performing other clinical procedures.
• A background in travel nursing is a plus but not required.

Candidates should hold a valid nursing license and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
